Last night -- 5/8/2010 at 9:30 pm -- my girlfriend and I went to see "The Losers" at the AMC in Towson Commons (Towson, Maryland). Unfortunately, we did *not* love it.
When we headed up to Theater 8 to see the movie, my girlfriend noted how dirty and dingy the second floor was. When we got to our theater, things were worse. It was clear that no clean-up had happened between showings. There was trash stuffed into cup holders and on the floor. And the floor was sticky.
There is a posted code of conduct, but no one enforces it. We were forced to endure loud talking throughout the entirety of the movie and not even the action and explosions could overcome their noisiness.
When we were leaving, we saw no theatre staff. The place feels abandoned. If someone had wanted to mug us on the second level, it would have been easy. There were a bunch of kids running around downstairs.
My girlfriend says she's never going back.
